Aim: Focuses on spiritual
principle that will support students in examining, exploring, and healing
their inner thoughts and feelings. Students will learn how to handle situations
before they happen. They will learn not to fear what others may think of their
actions. They will learn that happiness is simply choosing and accepting what
is going on in their lives. Students will be aware that they have a choice
to move into life assertively and to work with change.
Rational: The principles of universal concept
will guide students, step-by-step, to a deeper level of awareness of self
and the process of life. The central purpose is to show students
how they can break the viscous cycle of mistaken beliefs by developing a heightened
consciousness, and an acute self-awareness. The power is there and students
have a choice. Goals and Objective: The
purpose is to enable students to have a choice of how to deal with life's
challenges.Students are encouraged to think critically and act responsibly.
To show students that they have the power with-in and how they can use it
to be what they want to be, to do what they need
to do, and to have what they want to have in life. Students
will be able to open their minds and allow themselves to grow, to enjoy full
self-expression, love and abundance.
Audience: For the youth who are growing and
have grown from struggling to searching. From trying to do to learning how
to do. From growing from fear to having faith to demonstrating their courage
and change.
Subject Matter: This site
is designed to promote self-awareness strategies to ensue growth
and development.To provide awareness of character traits and ownership of
character traits. Problem solving skills, positive relationship
building with themselves and their peers and how to relate and deal with life
changing experiences which occur in everyday life. Instructional Plan: Students are to
understand the meaning of various traits and their worth in our daily lives.
Students will be able to foster an understanding and appreciation of Courage,
Fairness, Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility, and Trust for themselves and
others. Materials: Art supplies, colored pencils, dictionary,
magazines, newspapers, paper, pencils, pens, poster boards, rulers, scissors
tracing paper, and an open mind.
